Also can't wait for your take on Israel's "intelligence failure". Holy smokes are you ever the guy from the job of unravelling this. You should check out our recent work... I think you'd approve.
We miss you in the Signal group! I'd love if you rejoined. It's been bumping like crazy of late. Less crazy than before - more objective journalism with some very well informed, super smart people.
Not any time soon. To be honest, I'm horrified at what happened and am not trying to dive into conspiracy waters on it. Maybe there is some "there" there, but even with 9-11, I don't think people were trying to allow the attack to succeed. I think they were illegally trying to get Al Qaeda members to report for them using Saudi proxies, this failed, and then blew up in their faces and they lied to cover their asses. Nothing right now makes me think Israeli leadership would allow this kind of massacre to happen.
There is an influential contingent of Zionist fanatics who are openly planning for the destruction of the Al-Aqsa Mosque... and they're in the Knesset now. These people are psychos.
Ah, fair enough. I speculate about the possibility they let it happen on purpose but I don't by any means say that's the only possibility. Obviously the attack was carried out by Hamas with the support of Iran.
The question to me is "Who benefits?"
I'd say it's BRICS+ (which includes Iran, Egypt, UAE, and Saudi Arabia now), as well as arms manufacturers and everyone who wants to divert attention away from domestic corruption, inflation, coming economic collapse, etc.
I also think this is WWIII. I think the petrodollar is on its last legs.
OPEC+BRICS versus Biden's America? Doesn't seem like a toss-up to me.
Do you want to join a group chat on Twitter? We have one with Paul, Dave, Tom, Keith Henry (FNB), David Rovics (the folk singer), Margaret Anna Alice, Derrick Broze, etc...
I tried to add you but I think your settings don't allow it for some reason.

I don’t have signal anymore. Lost it a while ago when my old iPad died and I got a new one but I couldn’t transfer the account.
Are you going to take on the "intelligence failure"... I've written a little bit about it, check out my recent work if you're interested.

Crimethinc published a very informative piece on this subject: https://crimethinc.com/2023/03/27/a-coup-detat-in-israel-the-bitter-harvest-of-colonialism
(I gave you a shout-out in my most recent piece.)

Alternatively we could revive the Slack group.
Send an email to thecrowisamessenger@riseup.net - probably not the place to be having this chat.
